In the TV movie Stranger in the House, Jade hires a caregiver to look after her recently widowed, wealthy father Wayne (John Novak) — while she goes on her long-awaited honeymoon. When Jade returns, she discovers that the caregiver Samantha (Jordana Largy) has given herself a makeover, seduced her father and married him. When Jade’s father suddenly dies, she’s determined to prove that her new stepmother (who’s about to inherit everything) is a murderer.
Jade is portrayed by Emmanuelle Vaugier. She’s known for her roles on Lost Girl (The Morrigan/Evony), Mistresses (Niko), Two and a Half Men (Mia, Charlie Sheen’s one time fiancée), Covert Affairs (Liza), CSI: NY (Det. Jessica Angell), and most recently in the TV movie Love In Paradise with Luke Perry. Stranger in the House will premiere on Lifetime on April 10 at 7pm. It will air again on April 10 at 11pm, and April 16 at 6pm.
