Mike Schiavo Waits For Adam Levine on ‘The Voice’

Mike Schiavo of Colonia, New Jersey, sings the Tove Lo song “Talking Body” for his Blind Audition on Season 10 of The Voice. Coaches Adam Levine and Pharrell almost immediately turn around when they hear the 21-year-old sing. “This one’s mine,” says Levine.

When Schiavo reveals that he grew up listening to Elvis and Levine’s Maroon 5, it looks like a lock. Coach Christina Aguilera (who didn’t hit her buzzer) suggests that Levine seal the deal by singing Mike’s favorite Maroon 5 song “She Will Be Loved” with him. Levine says yes to an acoustic version. When Schiavo finds the chords on his guitar, he doesn’t start singing right away. Schiavo lets Levine sing the famous first lines of the famous song and waits for Levine to cue him in. After the performance, Levine tells Mike, “You’re a natural.” The Voice airs Mondays and Tuesdays at 8pm on NBC.
