Former model Kathryn Edwards has joined the cast of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills. Like most of the ladies on the show, she’s been married more than once. The moment she’s greeted by old friend Lisa Rinna, Edwards is forced to discuss her first marriage with former NFL player Marcus Allen. “That was a long time ago,” Edwards says politely. But that doesn’t nip the conversation in the bud. Edwards will be grilled about the 20-year-old rumor that Allen — while married to Kathryn — had an affair with Nicole Brown, the late wife of O.J. Simpson.

Edwards would much rather talk about her current husband, Donnie Edwards, who is nine years her junior. He too is a former NFL player. On a scholarship, Edwards played linebacker for UCLA (1992-1995) where he also played baseball (first base and third base) during his junior year. He was drafted in the 1996 NFL Draft by the Kansas City Chiefs (Allen played for them too) and later played for the San Diego Chargers. In 2009, Edwards retired. He spends most of his time working on philanthropic projects with his wife Kathryn. Real Housewives of Beverly Hills airs Tuesdays at 9pm on Bravo.
