On the 2 Broke Girls episode “And the Coming Out Party,” Caroline’s (Beth Behrs) grandmother Astrid awakens from a coma. The old woman doesn’t have a clue about the family’s financial scandal and Caroline doesn’t have the heart to tell her. Instead, Caroline throws her grandmother one last fancy luncheon.
Astrid is portrayed by Judith Roberts. The 81-year-old actress is best known for her roles on Orange Is the New Black (Taslitz), in the films The Nanny Diaries
