Costume designer Nikki Webster finds her career threatened when her weight reaches 650 pounds. “My weight became debilitating,” the 33-year-old told People. She says she grew up struggling with her weight — she was always on a diet. “My first diet was when I was seven. And it was usually successful, but then I would always gain it back and more.” She wakes up in pain every day.
Nikki will tell her story on My 600-lb Life and reveal her naked body on camera to show just how difficult everyday routines like getting into the shower are. “The hardest thing to live with is my stomach,” which says gets in the way of everything. Nikki has decided to get gastric-bypass surgery, but before undergoing the weight loss surgery, she’s told that she must lose 50 lbs. and get psychological help to help determine “the real cause of her lifelong secret eating habit.” Nikki’s Story will be told on My 600-lb Life on TLC on January 6 at 9pm.
