Justin Bieber Opera In New York Sold Out

Former YouTube star Felix Bernstein is starring in Bieber Bathos Elegy which is about another former YouTube star — Justin Bieber. On stage, Bieber (portayed by Luke Smithers) appears like an angel and critiques Bernstein’s (played by Bernstein) writings. Bernstein, 23, is the author of Notes on Post-Conceptual Poetry. His next book Burn Book will be released on February 2. Bieber Bathos Elegy is an opera that includes poetry, cabaret drag, and a performance of the song “Tomorrow” from the Broadway musical Annie performed by The Queer Youth Chorus.

During rehearsal for Bieber, the multi-faceted artist Bernstein said: “I’m very old-fashioned, with very campy tastes.” Bieber Bathos Elegy is being performed in front of sold out crowds at the Whitney’s Susan and John Hess Family Theater in Manhattan.
