The Reebok Pump basketball shoe had its moment in the sun back in 1991 when Dee Brown bent down to pump up his Reeboks before soaring to the NBA Slam Dunk title. The pump fell on hard times as Air Jordan — the man and his sneakers — made Dee Brown and his kicks forgettable. Last year Reebok brought the pump back in a running shoe (Reebok ZPump Fusion) — and this year it’s gonna rock a hoops shoe once again with the pump technology. On October 15 Reebok drops the Reebok ZPump Rise, with the cool cloud sky scene graphic. Night and day skies too, blue and a chill night black gray. Reebok calls the ZPump “the shoe that adapts to you.”
Also check out the retro Reebok Insta Pump Shaq Attaq 4 below, available at Finish Line. They look fine. And they’re not expensive either.
