Amy Robach is the ABC News anchor who was diagnosed with breast cancer on live TV. She received a mammogram on Good Morning America to highlight Breast Cancer Awareness Month. Off air she had follow up tests and then went on a professional hiatus to undergo a bilateral mastectomy and six months of chemotherapy.
Robach is back on ABC and has since written a memoir about her battle with cancer, Better: How I Let Go of Control, Held On to Hope, and Found Joy in My Darkest Hour. Robach is married to former Melrose Place actor Andrew Shue. He is now the co-founder of the social networking website CafeMom. They got married in 2010. She has two daughters from her first marriage. He has three sons from his prior marriage. They will appear on Oprah: Where Are They Now? on October 3 at 10pm on OWN.
