The Hamill family stars in TLC’s new reality TV show about little people, Our Little Family. Dan and Michelle are the parents of 5-year-old Jack and 2-year-old twin daughters, Cece and Cate. Unlike the Roloff family of TLC’s other show Little People, Big World, all of the Hamills are little people. As expected, the Hamills face a plethora of everyday challenges but seem to be ready and with a smile.

Michelle says she wants to “raise the kids like anyone else” which is a nice sentiment but is absolutely impossible. How can you raise children “like anyone else” when they are the stars of a reality TV show? Camera crews follow the Hamills wherever they go, even when on a family trip to Washington, DC. There, while standing on the steps of Lincoln Memorial, Michelle can’t believe people take photos of them without asking. She assumes the bystanders are taking photos of them because they are little people. Not because they are assumed to be celebrities (hence the camera crew following them around). While the TLC cameras roll, Michelle asks everyone to stop taking pictures of her children. Little People, Big World airs Tuesdays at 9pm on TLC. Our Little Family airs right after LPBW at 10pm.
