A few months ago, Kentucky Fried Chicken (KFC) hired SNL alum Darrell Hammond to impersonate the company’s beloved icon Colonel Sanders for a new brand campaign. On Sunday, KFC launched a new TV and online campagin — but not with Hammond as the Colonel.
Another SNL alum, Norm Macdonald (who recently served as a guest judge on NBC’s Last Comic Standing) has taken over as the Colonel. The ads have MacDonald calling Hammond an imposter and “not the real Colonel Sanders.” Which SNL alum would you like to see don the white suit next? Kristen Wiig?
