The ladies of Basketball Wives LA get together to celebrate the birthday of Shaunie O’Neal (ex-wife of Shaq O’Neal). Jackie Christie invites her friend Mehgan James to the party but not everyone is happy about it. Draya Michele has some serious doubts about Mehgan. And Patrice Curry (fourth and current wife of Anthony Curry) isn’t impressed either.

Mehgan James is the ex-girlfriend of Kedrick Brown who used to play for the Boston Celtics and the Philadelphia 76ers. She describes herself as very loud and outspoken. When asked to introduce herself to the group at Shaunie’s party, Mehgan says, “I always speak my mind and I hate liars.” She looks directly at Patrice and says, “I can’t stand a lying-ass b—-.” Patrice doesn’t want anything to do with Mehgan but Draya can’t seem to help herself. Draya says Mehgan’s a liar, and so it goes on Basketball Wives LA, which airs Sundays at 9pm on VH1.
