Billionaire owner of the Dallas Mavericks Mark Cuban recently congratulated presidential candidate Donald Trump on succeeding where no one else has in recent politics. Cuban wasn’t espousing any of Trump’s positions on immigration, the economy, or anything else. He was simply praising Trump’s transparency. Cuban on Trump: “He says what’s on his mind. He gives honest answers rather than prepared answers. This is more important than anything any candidate has done in years.” Cuban says Trump changed the political game, allowing candidates without “politically scrubbed” backgrounds to compete. That means more smart people might consider leadership roles, whatever’s in their closets.
Trump feels the love wherever he goes. (He’s careful only to go places where the Trump love is high.) But the candidate seemed genuinely grateful to Cuban for his “nice words” about his candidacy — something that if Trump wants to hear in the media he usually has to utter himself. Trump is even turning into a Mavs fan. Makes sense: rival San Antonio has all those foreign players — and it’s right on the border!
Thank you @mcuban for your nice words. I am rapidly becoming a @dallasmavs fan! https://t.co/sLXkCh9qfg
