Bluejack National is the first Tiger Woods designed course in America. The course is located in Montgomery, Texas, just outside of Houston, and it’s on track to open in November 2015. “We just need the grass to go in,” says Woods. “When all is said and done, the course is going to be more open. But more than anything, it’s going to be very playable.” He compares it to Augusta National, where “you never lose a golf ball.”
While there are a lot of big lakes (where one other than Tiger Woods could put it), he reassures “regular” players that if you hit it in the trees, you should be able to find your golf ball because all the vegetation has been pulled out. Woods proudly says “there aren’t too many golf courses like that anymore.” P.S. Bluejack will also include 386 private residences. And no, they do not come with membership which is available by application and invitation only.
