When Amy Miller of Secrets and Wives returns home from Fire Island she isn’t happy to see her adult son Max. During what was supposed to be a relaxing getaway, her friend Andi shows her a picture on Instagram. Max posted a photo of his mother’s kitchen table, broken. “I did it as a joke obviously,” Max smiles. To which his mother replied, “You have no respect.”
“You know, every day it’s something,” Amy yells at Max. “It’s not my fault,” he says. And then Max tries to divert his mother’s anger with this line: “Oh, I see the ring is back on your finger by the way. How’s everything going with Arthur?” Amy knows Max’s tactic but she’s more concerned with what everyone thinks about her. She’s getting lectured by her friends. “I let you s*%t on me,” she cries. Max apologizes and then Amy throw a lightweight threat about throwing Max out. Secrets and Wives airs Tuesdays at 10pm on Bravo.
