Lifetime’s new scripted series UnREAL is about a fictitious dating competition TV show called Everlasting, which looks just like ABC’s The Bachelor. One man “dates” dozens of women before choosing one. Cat fights, nudity, 911 calls ensue – exactly what Everlasting’s creator Chet wants. The more dramatic the episodes, the better the ratings.
Chet is portrayed by Craig Bierko. He’s best known for his roles in Damages (Terry), Unhitched (Jack “Gator” Gately) with Rashida Jones, Boston Legal (Jeffrey Coho), and the short-lived 1990 sitcom Sydney with Valerie Bertinelli and Matthew Perry. Funny fact about Bierko, in 2009, he created the viral video “Bathing with Bierko,” in which he interviews and bathes noted actor John Malkovich. (See below.) UnREAL will air Mondays at 10pm on Lifetime.
