JP Morgan — the global bank, not the dead man — just released its summer reading list (see below). Apparently not satisfied with ruling the economic roost, JP Morgan is getting into the content curation business, too–if modestly. If any bank has the proper legacy to do this, it’s probably Morgan, whose founder was a bibliophile with one of the world’s great private libraries.
It’s interesting to note that not one of JP Morgan’s 10 recommendations matches any of the ten books Facebook founder Mark Zuckerberg selected for his A Year of Books book club (see below). Techies and bankers really are different breeds.
