Hines Ward is a a renaissance man. After retiring from the NFL as a two-time Super Bowl winner and MVP (wide receiver for the Pittsburgh Steelers), Ward became a TV analyst for NBC’s Football Night in America. Aside of sports media, Ward has made appearances in the films The Dark Knight Rises and the TV series The Walking Dead. He also won America’s heart during Season 12 of Dancing with the Stars which he won with dance partner Kym Johnson (who’s btw now dating Shark Tank’s Robert Herjavec).
Ward’s next appearance on TV will be on Celebrity Wife Swap. He said he thought “it was an opportunity to learn something from another celebrity couple.” His wife, Lindsey Georgalas-Ward needed to be coaxed. “She was hesitant,” said Ward. Ward swapped wives with comedic actor Verne Troyer, who’s best known as Mini Me in the Austin Powers movies. Troyer’s girlfriend Brittney Powell lived with Ward for a week in Atlanta. The Celebrity Wife Swap episode will air Wednesday, May 27 at 10pm on ABC.
