Actor Dermot Mulroney has been in more than 70 movies including My Best Friend’s Wedding with Julia Roberts, The Grey with Liam Neeson, About Schmidt with Jack Nicholson, and the biopic Jobs with Ashton Kutcher (Mulroney played Mike Markkula, the second CEO of Apple, Inc.). Mulroney’s latest projects include a regular role on the TV series Shameless (as Sean Pierce), and the recently released horror flick Insidious: Chapter 3.
While promoting Insidious, Mulroney’s first real fright flick, he told DreadCentral: “I was kind of on the sidelines waiting to get called in to play horror.” He said his casting as the father of a grieving family (his wife died) was “deliberate” in the movie which, according to Mulroney, “lulls you into this family knowing that all hell is going to break loose later.” Mulroney will talk more about Insidious on Watch What Happens: Live with Andy Cohen on May 27, 11pm on Bravo.
