Actress Edie Falco is filming the seventh and final season of Nurse Jackie. She plays a drug addicted (Vicodin and Adderall) ER nurse in a New York hospital. In the last season Jackie hit rock bottom – she was arrested and left unemployed. Falco fans will have to tune in to see if Jackie can bounce back.
When asked about what she’s going to miss the most about Nurse Jackie, Falco said: “What I’m going to miss most is the day to day work life. It’s an experience unrivaled in my life. I have never had a more rewarding work life. Really. Bar none.” That’s interesting because Falco is also widely known for her Emmy and Golden Globe winning role as Carmela in the HBO megahit series The Sopranos, which ended after six seasons. Nurse Jackie airs Sundays at 9pm on Showtime.
