It’s just one week before Election Day on The Good Wife, and State’s Attorney candidate Alicia Florrick has lost her voice. Her team is worried – she needs to nail an interview with the editorial board of a local newspaper in order to win. Meanwhile, at Alicia’s law firm, Florrick/Agos/Lockhart, the partners get a visit from Louis Canning (Michael J. Fox) who “pressures them to agree on a settlement in his wrongful eviction case against the firm.” But Canning isn’t alone.
Louis Canning’s lovely wife Simone reappears on The Good Wife — we saw her last in 2013 when Canning helped his client stonewall Alicia Florrick in a multi-million dollar case. Simone Canning is portrayed by actress Susan Misner, who can be seen as Sandra Beeman, wife of FBI Agent Stan Beeman, on The Americans. TV viewers might also recognize her as Stacey on Nashville, Jessica on Person of Interest, and Alison Humphrey on Gossip Girl.
