After killing his neighbor in self-defense, Florida resident John Marshall put the corpse in the back of his pick-up truck and drove to his lawyer’s office. The lawyers called 911.
The men knew each other and had been fighting over “property work” before the incident. Marshall’s lawyer, Robert Harris, had advised Marshall to get a restraining order, according to the News-Press. Marshall knew his lawyer already, because last September Marshall was arrested for aggravated battery, allegedly using his truck as a weapon in a McDonald’s parking lot during a dispute over a parking space. Marshall was not arrested in the latest incident. He is free.
