Bristol Palin, daughter of the former governor of Alaska and GOP vice presidential candidate, is engaged. Her fiancé is Sgt. Dakota Meyer, a U.S. Marine vet who received the Medal of Honor in 2009. The 26-year-old veteran wrote on Instagram: “I’m definitely the luckiest guy ever to be able to spend the rest of my life with @bsmp2.”
While Bristol Palin has been engaged before, to Levi Johnston, father of her 6-year-old son Tripp, it will be the first marriage for her and for Meyer.
