It’s been a particularly dramatic season on Donald Trump’s reality TV show, Celebrity Apprentice. Contestants included two Real Housewives (Brandi Glanville and Kenya Moore), World Series winner Johnny Damon, and Sharknado star Ian Ziering, among others. For the live finale (February 16, 8pm, NBC) two will vie for the title of winner – TV news journalists Geraldo Rivera and Leeza Gibbons.
On the finale, Rivera and Gibbons will each present a commercial they’ve created for Universal Orlando Resort. Both have so much experience in front of the camera, selling stories, it’s going to be a close call. The winner of the show gets to give an additional $250,000 to their designated charity. Rivera’s charity is Life’s WORC, an organization that supports individuals with “developmental disabilities inclusive of those on the autism spectrum.” Gibbons’ is Leeza’s Care Connection, a charity that provides resources for families who are providing care for seniors with Alzheimer’s disease. No worries if Rivera loses — while on the show, he’s already raised $580k for Life’s WORC. Gibbons has raised $140k, which is nothing to sneeze at either.
