Pedro Bravo was caught in a teenage love triangle. In high school he dated Erika Friman. But when she went off to college, she dated his friend Christian Aguilar. In his journal, Bravo wrote details of how he was going to win Friman back. It is laden with stunning, intricate illustrations. Bravo, now 20 years old, was found guilty in August 2014 of first-degree murder and six other counts in the death of Aguilar, who was 18. According to ABC News, “The official cause of death is unknown, but prosecutors believe Bravo poisoned Aguilar and then strangled him.”
Friman took the stand at Bravo’s murder trial. She said she was afraid to tell Bravo that she had feelings for Aguilar. She called Bravo “sensitive.”
