Google X executive Forrest Hayes died from a heroin overdose in 2013. The 51-year-old was found dead on his 46-foot yacht, Escape, after a night of partying with Alix Tichelman, a 28-year-old prostitute. She is accused of giving Hayes his final lethal dose of heroin. When Hayes became unresponsive Hayes left the yacht without calling for help.
The CBS show 48 Hours investigates the case “to determine whether it was accidental or murder” on Saturday, January 24, 10pm on CBS. Tichelman, who is now linked to another fatal overdose in Georgia, is currently awaiting trial in Santa Cruz, California, where Hayes lived with his wife and five children.
