Canadian blond bombshell actress Tricia Helfer (Cylon Number Six in Battlestar Galactica) is portraying Viondra Denninger in Syfy’s new futuristic miniseries Ascension. Her character is described “beautiful, manipulative and dangerous.” The 40-year-old former model takes that as a compliment.
Helfer recently told The New York Post: “Because I modeled for 10 years, people don’t realize that I’m a tomboy or that I do my own stunts.” On the set of Ascension, the 5-foot-11 actress will reunite with her Galatica co-star Katee Sackhoff. They share a love of motorcycle riding. Ascension premiered on December 15, 2014, and will air two episodes each night for three consecutive nights.
