Glee actress Lea Michele got a new tattoo on her finger this week with her new boyfriend Matthew Paetz, who got one on his arm. It’s not her first, it’s probably her fifteenth. The last tattoo she got is on her ribcage – it’s the last words her late boyfriend Cory Monteith said to her (and the title of a song from her album Louder) “If you say so.”
In 2012, on Late Night with David Letterman, Lea explained: “I come from a very big Italian family, and tattoos are very popular. So it will be, like, Easter, and we’ll be talking and we’ll be like, Let’s all go get tattoos! And then we get super sentimental, and then the next day I wake up and with like another, like, butterfly on my foot.” She proceeded to tell Dave that she was done with tattoos. “Because all my secret, hidden spots are done, like my real estate is over.”
