Houston Texans running back Arian Foster decided to use an English accent during his media interview on Thursday. Why? One theory is: one of the reporters was filing a story for the English newspaper, The Guardian. Hmmm. The only microphones visible on the video belong to American networks ABC, ESPN and SportsRadio.
Who cares who was asking the questions? Kudos to Foster for keeping the accent up throughout the boring interview. “String together wins,” Foster says in his accent. “That’s the goal.” Although Foster admits his accent “came out a little Irish,” we are amused.
