A toxicology report on the late comedian Robin Williams, who committed suicide on August 11, found no illicit drugs or alcohol in his system. Williams suffered from depression. Illicit, of course, means illegal–so the report does not say there were no prescription drugs in Williams’ system. A legitimately prescribed drug would not be considered “illicit.”
The report confirms the presence of prescription drugs in “therapeutic concentrations”–in other words, as prescribed.
