Kelsey Grammer’s 22-year-old daughter, Greer, is following in her father’s footsteps. She’s an actress best known for playing Lissa in the MTV comedy Awkward. She also has a recurring role on Melissa & Joey, the ABC Family show. This week she’s been named Miss Golden Globe. Every year the Hollywood Foreign Press Association chooses the daughter of a past winner (Grammer won three Golden Globes) to help hand out the statuettes during the ceremony. Past Miss Golden Globes have included Melanie Griffith and Laura Dern.
“I hope to be a Miss Golden Globe who gets to come back and win a Golden Globe, said Greer Grammer. The Golden Globe Awards will be presented on January 11, 2015. P.S. Greer was named after Greer Garson, who won an Academy Award for her lead role in Mrs. Miniver (1942).
