The day before Thanksgiving and Hilary Duff (Lizzie McGuire) has announced that she can’t be a part of the big Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade in New York. Duff tweeted less than 24 hours before the parade: “I thought I was free for the Thanksgiving Parade but turns out with filming the TV show and mom duty my schedule just doesn’t work! L”. See what she did there, throwing in the mom duty, so no one can blame her for putting family first?
The TV show she’s referring to is Younger – it’s about a single mom (Sutton Foster) who has a hard time returning to the workforce but is befriended by a 20something co-worker (Duff). The first season will premiere on TV Land on January 13, 2015 at 10pm.
