Singer, producer and fashion guru Pharrell is selling a limited-edition of red Timberland boots designed by his Bee Line. The saturated red leather lace-ups will be sold exclusively at Pharrell’s Billionaire Boys Club flagship store in SoHo, New York City, beginning August 17th. They will retail for $250. A standard pair of Timberlands at Macy’s costs about $180.
Pharrell isn’t the first to dye Timbs red. Last year, Philadelphia retailer VILLA produced a limited-edition (1,600) of Ruby Red 6″ Timberland boots. There’s a difference in design: VILLA kept the classic black collar and wheat colored sole. And price: a pair of Ruby Reds went for $180. Ten perecent of the Ruby Red proceeds went to the Wissahickon Boys & Girls Club’s VILLA Teen Center.
