LA Clippers point guard Chris Paul has a new top boss in former Microsoft billionaire Steve Ballmer. Come to think of it, Paul only associates with big name brands–Michael Jordan not least. (That is, if you don’t count CP3’s doppleganger, Cliff Paul, the insurance guy.) One thing all of Chris Paul’s pals want is for this pass-first point guard to take the LA Clippers to the finals–a feat that people, even the Clippers faithful, would have thought impossible even a few years ago.
Lots of people now believe that Coach Doc Rivers’ calm combined with Ballmer’s passion, Blake Griffin’s growth as an all-around player combined with Chris Paul’s genius, and one of the league’s very best benches make this the Clippers’ year. It’s Paul’s 10th in the league–and his 8th signature shoe. Ballmer’s hoping it fits like a glass slipper.
