Caroline Manzo, the redheaded mother hen of the Real Housewives of New Jersey, is back on Bravo with her spinoff show Manzo’d With Children. The first season, to premiere October 5, will include the whole Manzo clan. Her three adult children are living with her and her husband Al in their McMansion in the wealthy suburb of Franklin Lakes.
There will certainly be a focus on daughter Lauren’s engagement to longtime beau Vito Scalia. (A wedding is scheduled for summer 2015.) And for some eye candy, Albie brings home a woman who as his mother describes looks like a beer commercial. In one episode she washes a car in a bikini. In the teaser, Caroline snickers, “Does she come with a truck?” Just like in the TV hit “Married With Children,” sibling fighting is constant. The difference is the mother cares, and is worth about $8 million.
