Apple posted new information about its massive new “spaceship” campus and the sheer size of it–matching Apple’s market share!–is incredible to behold. Especially from above–the aerial photo of the project’s construction site shows how it dwarfs everything around it. The Norman Foster-designed campus (Foster + Partners) will have more cool features than an iPhone 6–beginning with the fact that it will hide every car beneath the ground and seamlessly integrate with the natural landscape. That integration is made easier because the new campus is so big it becomes the natural landscape!
The spaceship campus should be completed in 2016. (There is no beta!) The photo was posted on the city of Cupertino’s website by the Apple team run by Edith Sandoval, Project Coordinator.
