Plot details of another highly anticipated Marvel movie, Avengers 2 / The Avengers: Age of Ultron (to be released May 2015), have just been “leaked” to the press. Right before the opening of San Diego Comic Con, Marvel’s head of production Kevin Feige confirmed that the Avengers sequel does indeed open with the team battling Baron Wolfgang von Strucker (Thomas Kretschmann) with newcomers Quicksilver (Aaron Taylor-Johnson) and Scarlet Witch (Elizabeth Olsen). And after the battle, the team will celebrate in Tony Stark’s (Robert Downey Jr.’s) Avengers Tower “which will become a primary location this time around.”
While the artificially intelligent robot Ultron (James Spader) will get a new storyline in Avengers 2, Feige says it won’t differ too much from the Marvel Comics, unlike big changes in The Fantastic Four, coming a month after Avengers 2.
