Singer Liam Payne of the popular boy band One Direction posed naked on a moving boat and then posted it on Instagram. The caption read: ‘Damn that was my last pair!’ Maybe he lost a bet or was dared by his girlfriend–it doesn’t really matter why he did it. The social media world just can’t believe that he did, and is definitely laughing with him. Important note: His private parts are kept semi-private with pixilation.
One Direction fans want him to “uncensor” the photo (see #UncensorItLiam) and haters, well, they’re making easy jokes about size. Clearly, Payne knew he was setting himself up for criticism, he’s the one who posted it for all to see! But we can’t help but to wonder–what if a female singer like Miley Cyrus posted a photo of herself like this? Would it be received so well?
