Despite what people like Jenn Gidman of Newser say, it’s been an awesome summer for Jenny McCarthy. Sure she was only on The View for a year, but did she really want to hang out with Rosie O’Donnell? (Rosie arrives this fall for the new season.) McCarthy wasn’t out of a job for long. She landed her own show on Sirius XM radio—Dirty, Sexy, Funny. The former MTV game show host and Playboy bunny is doing just fine.
And that story about her son Evan calling the cops on her while texting and driving is priceless PR. During her weekly, one-hour show, McCarthy talks a lot about parenting – the good and bad, including the time Evan called 911 “when she went outside for a smoke and he couldn’t find her.” That’s comedy, folks. And then you add sexy and dirty, too? McCarthy should thrive in the new format.
