Holly Grigsby, the 27-year-old woman who killed four people on a killing rampage in the Northwest with her boyfriend David “Joey” Pedersen, was sentence to life in prison today. One of the four victims was a 19-year-old Christian who they shot because his name (Myer) sounded Jewish. This week, in federal court, Grigsby apologized for her actions, but not her supremacist views. “My actions have further damaged the reputation of a movement misunderstood,” she said “I deeply regret this.”
According to the Southern Poverty Law Center, neo-Nazi and white supremacist groups run by (and for) young Aryan women are showing a greater presence on the Internet. In between recipes and poems about motherhood are quotes from Hitler, sketches of skinheads and warnings like the one on the White Pride Movement website that warns women against buying food products certified for Kosher consumption.
