The giant inflatable sculpture Lionel Richie’s Head (as seen and played in at the English Bestival this summer) is making its US debut in New York at the Art Directors Club‘s Halloween Party on October 30. Partygoers are encouraged to “get inside his head and sing your favorite Lionel song. (Commodores songs count too.)” Also on exhibit will be the kitschy, pop-monster paintings of Mike Bell, and a glow-in-the-dark mural by Stefan Bucker, among other wicked-awesome artwork.
Grand prize for best costume is a LXM Little Martin Guitar (list price $409). The winner (and losers) can learn how to play All Night Long, Dancing on the Ceiling and Hello chords by Lionel Richie here. You’re welcome.
