Question: Can you drown from drinking too much water?
Answer: On January 12, 2007, Jennifer Strange, a twenty-eight year old woman and mother of three children, was found dead in her Rancho Cordova home by her mother. She had taken part in radio station KDND’s “Hold Your Wee for a Wii” contest, trying to win a Nintendo Wii game console that went to the contestant who drank the most water without urinating. It is estimated that she drank two gallons of water in a very short period of time.
