Citing the strength and durability of the suspender ropes holding up the George Washington Bridge, a New York City-bound passenger told his driver that they were traveling over the most “over-engineered bridge” in the country.
The driver, midway across the span and speaking for the other 106 million drivers who traverse the bridge annually, replied “I don’t believe in the category.”
