In Season 3 of The Rap Game, music producer Jermaine Dupre is challenging five new young rappers who are competing for a contract with his So So Def Records. They include King Roscoe of Atlanta (whose father was murdered) and Flau-jae, daughter of famous Southern rapper Camoflauge (sic), who was also murdered.
Camoflauge (born Jason Johnson) was from Hitch Village housing project in Savannah, Georgia. His solo album I Represent sold more than 50,000 copies in 2000. He opened for huge names in rap including Scarface, Master P, Ice-T, Birdman and Ludacris, among others. Camoflauge was shot dead outside Pure Pain Recording Studio in May 2003. He was 21. The Rap Game airs Fridays at 10pm on Lifetime.
