Father and son Jeff and Jack Danos are the founders of Fish Call, a high-tech bobber device for catching fish. The product is the size of a soda can and weighs less than two pounds. It uses three AAA batteries. “Turn it on, toss it in, and cast it around” is one of the taglines. The bobbing device emits a sound/vibration that attracts fish. It comes with three different sounds for freshwater and salt water and is known to attract predator fish including trout, bass, flounder, striper, catfish, yellowtail, and blue gill among others. The Danos are pitching their business [TactiBite] on Shark Tank.

One possible obstacle the Danos will face in the Shark Tank is the price tag. Will fishermen/women spend $100 on a Fish Call? Fishing gear and tackle is a $38 billion industry. The product might tempt investor Mark Cuban who invested in World Record Striper Company Shell Bobbers. Shark Tank airs Fridays at 9pm on ABC.
