Sarah Hay is the 28-year-old ballerina/actress who stars in the Starz TV series Flesh and Bone. She portrays the emotionally wounded ballerina Claire Robbins who runs away from her abusive past in Pittsburgh and straight into the cutthroat world of professional ballet in New York City. Raised in Princeton, New Jersey, Hay started training at the School of American Ballet at the age of 8. After attending the Jacqueline Kennedy Onassis School of Ballet at the American Ballet Theatre, she was a soloist at the Dresden Semperoper Ballett in Germany. Fun fact about Hay: she appeared/performed in the Corps De Ballet in the 2010 film Black Swan. Hay is nominated for a Golden Globe for Best Actress in a Limited Series or Motion Picture made for Television.
