In the Lifetime TV movie Fatal Flip, a young couple (Jeff and Alex) makes the hasty decision to buy a rundown house. They think they can do all the repairs themselves in 45 days, flip it and make a quick profit. When they realize they can’t, they turn to local carpenter Nate. The problem is Nate starts to sabotage the couple’s efforts to remodel because, well, he’s a creepy maniac. This is Lifetime, people.
Alex is portrayed by Dominique Swain. She’s best known for her role as Dolores “Lolita” Haze in the 1997 film Lolita with Jeremy Irons and Melanie Griffith. She was a 15-year-old sophomore at Malibu High School when the controversial film was released. But that wasn't her first big break. She played John Travolta's daughter Jamie Archer in Face/Off. Fatal Flip premieres on Lifetime on August 29 at 8pm. It will air again on August 30 at 12am, 7pm, and 11pm.
