When not playing Agent Jessica Knight on the hit CBS crime investigation series NCIS, actress Katrina Law has been working on her own project with her real-life husband Keith Andreen.
As seen below, the power couple recently accepted the Best Screenwriting Award for their short film Mayfly at the Long Story Shorts International Film Festival. (Law also co-produces and stars in the dramatic 27-minute film.)
The protagonist of Mayfly is best-selling self-help author Aaron Driscoll (Warren Kole), who’s hiding a deep dark secret. As seen in the trailer below, Aaron is startled awake one night in his bedroom “by what initially appears to be an obsessed fan (Law) holding him at gunpoint, demanding the truth about his shameful past, and forcing him into a painful reckoning that will either kill him or be his salvation.”

When Law’s NCIS co-star Wilmer Valderrama (Agent Torres) saw the trailer, he dropped a series of applauding hands and fire emojis.
The Season 20 finale episode of NCIS airs Monday, May 22 at 9 pm ET on CBS, right before the Season 2 finale of its spinoff series NCIS: Hawaii at 10 pm.
