Rep. Jim Jordan hopped on the radio with Fox Across America‘s Jimmy Failla and started backhandedly complimenting Failla on the pink tuxedo jacket he wore to the White House Correspondents’ Dinner. The Ohio Congressman said the pink was “amazing.”
Jordan sounded out of breath on the call and Failla, who had just introduced Jordan as a “Superstar Representative,” said he thought Jordan must have been out of breath from dragging a mutual friend away from the open bar at the event.
Jordan jumped in with a quick retort in the man’s defense, saying “he wasn’t drinking Bud Light.” Failla concurred, “No, give him, credit. He was drinking everything else.”

Jordan continued to express admiration for Failla’s wardrobe, saying he likes his plaid jacket too, “the one you wear on Fox.” Jordan admitted he couldn’t say what color that jacket was, with the Congressman revealing that he is “sort of colorblind.”
Failla told Jordan he dresses with some flair in order to “distract from his glaring lack of intellect,” professing a belief that if “you wear loud stuff the viewer assumes you know what you’re talking about.”
Jordan swoops in to rescue Failla’s ego, even if Failla’s modesty is as false as a slur against a Dominion voting machine.
Jordan says: “You sell yourself short. People in comedy are actually some of the funniest people around. You do a good job.”
Failla then suddenly turns on the congressman, saying to Jordan: “You’re only bashing the pink because it’s a size 46 and you probably wear like a kid’s 30. Let’s be honest. If they make one in juniors, I’ll send it out to your office so you can wear it sometime.”
Burn?
Jordan did not then, having been characterized as a small and less-than-fully-masculine man, reiterate his compliment on Failla’s brilliant comedy chops.

Rep. Jim Jordan is currently the Chair of the House Committee on Oversight and Accountability, where he is running multiple investigations into potential wrongdoings by Democrats.
