Former MTV News reporter Tabitha Soren is an accomplished fine art photographer who is now represented by Jackson Art Gallery in Atlanta, Georgia.
To celebrate the new partnership, Jackson Art Gallery announced a solo exhibition of three of Soren’s most celebrated series — Running (2011 – 2014), Surface Tension (2013 – 2021), and Relief, an ongoing project that is making its debut at the gallery.

Soren’s Relief is on view at the Jackson Art Gallery until December 23, 2022.
When Soren shared the video above, of her using a pellet gun on one of her photographs, she wrote: “Embracing accidents is a necessary and important way of working for me. I needed to get a step away from the straight photograph.” She adds, “In RELIEF, I’m adding light traces, scans, and handmade markings on top of the print to explore ideas BEYOND the visible truth.”
