The great NBA shooting guard Klay Thompson — Splash Brother of Stephen Curry and 4-time NBA champion — enjoys himself. And on media day this year the defending champion Warriors got to do a very enjoyable photography session that other NBA teams just can’t.
Thompson, Curry, Draymond Green and company got to pose with their FOUR Larry O’Brien Trophies.
The hardware shines bright, but still looks dim next to Thompson’s smile and happiness as he poses with the earned gold. Thompson spent more than 900 days away from NBA basketball rehabbing an injury, only to return triumphantly and contribute to the Warriors fourth title in eight years.
“So many trophies,” Thompson says giddily, that he doesn’t “know where to point.”
